Platt Hall Gallery of Costume

Platt Hall Gallery of costume is a grade 2* listed Georgian House. The building required updating with a modern boiler a re-wire and major improvements and repairs to the structure including discreet access ramps to the front elevation. In 2008 the building was renovated by Manchester City Council with lead officer Les Yates co-ordinating the design and project managing the works.

High Tech Code 4 Bungalows

These bungalows designed by Bowker- Sadler Partnership and built by Cruden Construction were a great success. The solar panels and rainwater harvesting ensure that the properties stand up to their eco friendly credentials. As project manager of the scheme I enhanced my knowledge of building technology and civil engineering along with working to a tight deadline with budget restraints.

Lansdowne Road Manchester

Lansdowne Road was a run down area of Blackley in Manchester. A regeneration scheme to give the street a facelift was commissioned and works were completed in 2007. Les Yates Surveys Ltd picked up the partially designed scheme and carried the project through to a successful completion on time and within budget.
